Contributing to the Mamba Image Library
Mamba is an open source library and you are free to copy and edit it to fit your own needs. However if you think you have ideas or pieces of code to improve it we welcome your participation.
What can you improve ?
Lots of thing can be improved by your contributions :
- Documentation
- Better (i.e. faster) implementation
- New algorithms
- New functionnalities
- Any idea as long as it will make Mamba a better library
Keep in mind however that if you want your work to be added to Mamba, you will have to obey the rules defined in the standards (see the documentation in section contributors). The rules are not meant to restrain your work and shall be break if they prevent Mamba to become better . The document is also important as it presents what are the objectives of Mamba.
Licensing and contributors
Mamba is licensed under X11 license (see the about
page). It means that you can do pretty much what you want provided you
respect a few rules.
If you want to contribute to Mamba we would like you to license your work
under this license or equivalent.
